Soccer Outreach Services aims to partner with individuals, clubs, and corporations in order to establish youth development soccer centers in rural villages for the purpose of nurturing, training, equipping, and educating young athletes, both male and female, to become leaders in their communities both on and off the field.
Soccer Outreach Services (SOS) began when our family traveled to Burkina Faso in 2007 to conduct soccer camps for underserved children and youth. Seeing how much joy the game brought to children inspired us to commit to holistic youth development in the region. In 2009 and 2010, we returned to West Africa to work alongside a local soccer club, providing needed equipment, instruction, and coaches training. Following these trips, we officially launched Soccer Outreach Services and gained IRS 501c3 recognition in 2011.
In Guinea West Africa (2009 - 2012), SOS partnered with the Victory Soccer Center to provide material support, coaches training, and annual soccer clinics for local youth.
In post civil-war northern Sri Lanka (2013 - 2014), SOS partnered with local officials to provide annual soccer clinics for local youth as part of the nation's national program for peace and reconciliation.
In 2015 SOS, sponsored by The Hershey Company, launched a new program in Ghana West Africa. Partnering with the headmaster of a local school, SOS committed to providing enrichment opportunities for youth residing in cocoa farming communities.

The Board of Soccer Outreach Services is comprised of men and women who have a passion to utilize their professional and athletic experiences to bring much needed support to youth living in underserved, rural communities. As educators, coaches, and former athletes, the Board of SOS is committed to holistic youth development and recognizes sport as a highly effective tool for providing athletic skill development, educational enrichment, and nutritional support to underserved youth.
